Greek Islands

This is a website about the islands in the Aegean Sea and traveling there – primarily the Cyclades and the Sporades. Eventually, posts about other island groups will be added as well. We have visited almost 40 islands in the Aegean Sea. Now we wish to share these experiences with you, both on this website and in a book recently published by Kolofon Forlag, which can be purchased in bookstores across the country. The book is called Island Hopping and Hiking in Greece and is the first of its kind in Norway. It covers nine selected islands in the Cyclades, explaining how to get there, which sights to see if you only have a few days or a week, where to find the best beaches, and much more. The aim of both the website and the book is to help you form a connection with the islands we write about and inspire you to embark on an odyssey through the magnificent Aegean archipelago the next time you plan a trip to the south.
